DIY Kit's Chicken Keeping Outfit

We were in love with the New Special-Edition Kit's Chicken Keeping outfit and the chicken, but we could not bring ourselves to buy it, so My sister Sarah with help from Our mom made a  Chicken keeping outfit. We used Lanie as a model, hope you like the pictures.

Now the blue is a little different, we just used some old blue, the Chicken we got from Dollar tree, and we used just a pink tee for the under shirt.

My mom made a matching headband.

We even made matching shorts, we paired with Kit's sweater and a white tee.

Juliet looks great.

Cecile found one yellow and one poink one, "Yes!" she said.

Grace had got her first one, 'Got to keep looking!" she cried.

"A Blue one!" Juliet said.

"The Jackpot," Cecile whispered as she found a bunch of eggs.

She put them all in her basket as the timer rang!

Blessings of the Palms, American Girl Style!

Happy Palm Sunday, The dolls wanted to make palm crosses and have them "blessed."

~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~

Kailey, Nellie, and Samantha were walking to get dome palms, they were all wearing red for Palm Sunday, "I am so happy, I wonder what we can do it with the palms?" Nellie wondered, This gave Samantha an idea.

Nellie grabbed some palms for her and her friends.

"Here you go," she said giving it to Kailey and Samantha, "Thanks!" they replied.

Samantha started to work on her idea, she was going to make crosses.

"It's perfect," she declared, as she saw her first cross.

After a while, she made enough crosses for her and her friends.

She went walking to her friends, who were already at the church.

"This is for you!" she said, "Thanks so much!" Nellie said, "I love it!" Kailey replied.

They patiently waited for the priest to come and bless the crosses.

Finally, Fr.Ignatius walked into the church with his prayer book and a little palm cross.

He began to recite the prayer, all the girls bowed their heads.

After the prayer, he started to bless them.

Nellie got blessed.

After the blessing, Fr. Ignatius said, "In the name of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. Amen Go in Peace."

Samantha was so happy, she gave her friends Palm crosses, they got them blessed, this truly was the best Palm Sunday ever.
