Throwback Thursday: Hairstyles by Sarah: Cowgirl Ponytails!

Throwback on one of Sarah's Hairstyles!

This week I will be doing the Cowgirl Ponytails on Kailey, if your doll is tired of doing the same braids or ponytails when she wants to go horse back riding or to the rodeo this is the perfect hairstyle that combines both the braids and the ponytails. I would recommend this hairstyle on dolls with center parts  or dolls with hair like Mckenna. So lets get started for this hairstyle you will need a: brush, 4 hair bands, and (optional) ribbons.

Step 1: Brush your dolls hair.

Step 2: Take a section of hair from the top front of her head and tie it with a hair band and repeat step with another section of hair.

Step 3: Divide the sections you tied with the hair band in two and braid them and repeat on the other side.

Step 4: Split hair into two parts, (sorry on the quality on the image I was rushing).

Step 5: This is the tricky part, take the braid closer to the middle part and put it on the opposite side     ( it will look like an x refer to the picture one down).

Step 6: Tie both of the ponytails with a hair band.

Step 7: (Optional) tie the ponytails with ribbons. And your done.
